Provides handling for the MouseWheel event.
Namespace: System.Windows.Controls
Assembly: System.Windows.Controls.Data (in System.Windows.Controls.Data.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Protected Overrides Sub OnMouseWheel ( _
e As MouseWheelEventArgs _
)
protected override void OnMouseWheel(
MouseWheelEventArgs e
)
Parameters
- e
Type: System.Windows.Input.MouseWheelEventArgs
A MouseWheelEventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
This method scrolls the DataGrid in the same direction of the mouse wheel.
The OnMouseWheel method is called before any event handler for the MouseWheel is called. This method allows derived classes to handle the MouseWheel event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
This implementation marks the MouseWheel event as handled by setting the Handled property of the event data to true.
Notes to Inheritors
If you override OnMouseWheel, you can prevent registered delegates from receiving events by setting Handled to true. For more information about routed events and Handled property, see Events Overview for Silverlight.
