控件類型描述使用者介面自動化元素的已知互動模型，而不需要依賴當地語系化控件類型或複雜邏輯規則的組合。除非控件支援 IUIAutomationMultipleViewPattern 介面，否則此屬性無法在運行時間變更。例如，Win32 ListView 控制項可以根據目前的檢視，從數據格變更為清單。
