單行編輯控件支援透過 IUIAutomationValuePattern 以程式設計方式存取其內容。 不過，多行編輯控件不支援此控件模式，而且必須使用 IUIAutomationTextPattern 來擷取其內容。
此屬性不支援擷取格式化資訊或子字串值。 IUIAutomationTextPattern 也必須在這些案例中使用。
