My OneNote isn't syncing. Several colleagues use this on different computers. How do we ensure we haven't lost things, or force a synce?

For your situation, you can manually trigger a sync to ensure the latest changes are uploaded: 

• You open OneNote, then go to File => Info => View Sync Status. 
• In the dialog box: 

You can click Sync Now next to the notebook you want to sync or click Sync All to sync all notebooks.

Additionally, you can right click the notebook name in the notebook list and select “Sync This Notebook”

Besides that, you can check whether you and your colleagues are using the same version of OneNote, as using different versions may cause sync issues or even data loss.  

To do this, simply search for “OneNote” in the Windows Start Menu. 

• If you see “OneNote”, this refers to OneNote 2016 (the traditional desktop version). 
• If you see “OneNote for Windows 10”, this is the UWP version (a modern app from the Microsoft Store). 

If both appear, it means both versions are installed on your device.
