I Need to turn off teams notifications off for email ONLY. I need notifications to go through my phone, but if I miss a message or don’t read it in time, I don’t want an email notification. I can’t fine a way to do it through the app.

To disable email notifications while continuing to receive alerts on your phone, please follow these steps using the Teams desktop or web application:

1. Open Teams on your desktop or go to https://teams.microsoft.com and sign in.
2. Go to Settings:
   • Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.
   • Select “Settings” from the dropdown.
3. Open Notifications:
   • In the Settings panel, click “Notifications.”
4. Find “Missed activity emails”:
   • Scroll to the Email section or look under“Notifications and activity.”
   • Locate the “Missed activity emails” option.
5. Turn It Off:
   • Set it to “Off” or “Never” (depending on your Teams version).
   • This stops Teams from sending email summaries of missed messages.
6. Ensure your mobile device has notifications enabled:
   • On iPhone: Go to Settings > Notifications > Teams and enable Allow Notifications.
   • On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Teams > Notifications and enable them.
7. In the Teams mobile app, go to Settings > Notifications and confirm that alerts for chats, mentions, and calls are turned on.

Please note that this change applies to your Teams account across all devices. You will still receive calendar invites and direct emails, but automated summaries for missed activity will be disabled.
