Blocked Macros

"Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted"

I right clicked and checked the "unblock" box at the bottom of the general tab.

When I click OK I get "error applying attributes" "an error occurred applying attributes to the file: <file path> "the system cannot find the file specified"

The file path is correct. The source is trusted. I need to run the macros. This file needs to be able to be downloaded by anyone with access to the server it lives on and run macros without ever seeing this error.
