@MICROSOFTTEAMS

I have setup the MS Teams for my organization using Intune and everyone is enrolled in same time zone on Microsoft account. Also, the time zone of the OS for each MacBook is same for everyone. Still for some users it shows a different time zone on Teams. I have checked all the settings

1- System Settings ( shows correct time zone )

2- Microsoft Account Time Zone Setting ( shows correct time zone )

3- Outlook calendar setting and work hours ( shows correct settings )

However, on MS Teams it still shows a different time zone and completely different work hours.

Kindly suggest a way to fix this!

Dear @Arsalan Mustafa,

Good day. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

I would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

Following my recent investigation and testing within our environment, I was unable to reproduce the issue everything appears to be functioning as expected.

Firstly, please help me try some troubleshoot below:

1.Restart app:

Upon changing the time zone, a notification will appear at the top stating: 'We noticed a time zone change in your OS settings. To see the change in Teams, restart the app'.

2.Clear Teams cache:

Cached data can sometimes cause problems. Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

If some users are still seeing a different time zone or incorrect work hours in Microsoft Teams, this may indicate a backend synchronization issue or an account-specific anomaly. In this case, the best way to further troubleshoot it is to report it to the related team. I sincerely recommend you try to create a support ticket from Microsoft 365 Admin Center>Support>New Service Request. You can raise support ticket from: https://admin.microsoft.com/#/support/requests

The support team over there has higher permission than us to investigate the issue from background, they have more resource and correct escalation channel in handling this kind of issues. This would be a more efficient way in handling the case for you.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

I completely understand your frustration. Please note that I have escalated this issue to my supervisor. However, as a community moderator, my role is to provide guidance and simple fixes; I do not have the ability to directly influence or expedite the engineering team's troubleshooting process. I appreciate you're understanding on this matter.

Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as Microsoft works to fully resolve this.

Thank you again for your time and understanding. Hope you have a great day!!
