Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on your description that your emails are not syncing, I would recommend trying these steps below:
- Sign out and sign in again:
- Go to Settings → Accounts.
- Remove the account.
- Restart Outlook.
- Add the account again.
- Try classic Outlook or Outlook web application (OWA)
If the issue persists in new Outlook, please consider using classic Outlook and Outlook on the web:
- Mail - Outlook
- Or switch to classic Outlook by clicking the toggle on top of new Outlook
- Review Junk, Other, and Focused Tabs
- Outlook may have misclassified your emails:
- Check the Junk Email folder.
- Look under the Other tab if you're using Focused Inbox.
- Mark any legitimate emails as “Not Junk” to train the filter.
- Check Account Type
If your account was mistakenly set up as a Work/School account without a mailbox, it won’t receive emails. You may need to contact your organization's IT admin to assign an Exchange Online license via admin portal.
I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.
