Hi @Susan Muehlenthaler,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
It appears that the Calendar tab is not showing as expected when using the Word calendar template in Microsoft 365 Apps for Business.
This issue is typically related to macro functionality embedded in certain calendar templates. If the tab isn’t appearing, it’s likely due to one of the following:
- Macros are disabled in your Word settings.
- The template version you’re using doesn’t include the macro that adds the Calendar tab.
- The tab was originally added via a custom add-in or stored in a different template file.
There're some workarounds you can try:
1/ Enable macros
- Go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings

- Navigate to Macro Settings > Select “Enable all macros”.

- You can revert this setting after confirming functionality.
2/ Try a different template
- Some templates like “JanYear” still include the Calendar tab.
- You can search for this template via File > New in Word.

3/ Re-download the template
If the preview shows YEAR or MONTH and YEAR, it likely includes the macro. Re-downloading may restore the missing tab.
4/ Use a third-party add-in
You may also consider using Greg Maxey’s Calendar Maker Add-in, which offers enhanced calendar customization and macro support.
