How can I install Home Office 2024 with my Microsoft Account with your directions.

Want to install Home Office 2024 that I purchased in October 29, 2024 Order Number: <remove PII> Product Key: <Mod remove PII> $160.86 because currently I can not update a Word Document, curser where I wanted to type freezes no letters or numbers could not be indexed. A new document was created with the same problem. Do not want to make a payment again. This is what is shown Downloads Microsoft_365_and_Office_16.102.25101223_HomeStudent_Installer.pkg

Don't want Microsoft 365 or Home Student. Have not clicked on the Downloads a box color with yellow opening. The title is the same as the downloads in top bar above with a box, a arrow pointing down. Just give me directions where to reinstall, have the capability to download Home Office 2024 and have it good to go! So, where do go to visit the Microsoft account Services & Subscriptions page, sign in with my Microsoft account that was used to purchase and activate Office Home 2024. Locate Office Home 2024 under the "Services & Subscriptions sections" section. And believe I can follow the directions from there.

I assume when you sign in, it will be my Microsoft account but have

assigned it with a new password. Hope this is more clear than mud? Would appreciate you help and advice @ your earliest convenience! Thank you again for your help and expertise! If it is allowed my email address is <Mod remove PII>.

    Since you have already purchased Office Home & Student 2024, you don't need to pay again. The key thing is that your product is tied to your Microsoft account, not just the download file you see.

    Here's how you can reinstall properly:

    1. Uninstall the wrong version first:
      • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps (Windows 11)
      • Find and uninstall Microsoft 365, Office Trial, or Office Home and Student 2021/2024 if they show as installed.
      • Restart your PC afterward.
    2. Sign in to the correct Microsoft account:
      • Open https://account.microsoft.com/services.
      • Sign in using the same account you used to redeem or buy Office Home 2024.
      • You should see “Office Home 2024” listed under Services & subscriptions.
      • If you don’t see it, you may have redeemed the key under a different account — check other Microsoft accounts you own.
    3. Download the right installer
      • Next to Office Home 2024, click Install > Install on this device.
      • This will download the one-time purchase (non-subscription) version tied to your license.
    4. Run the setup file:
      • Open the downloaded file (usually Setup.exe).
      • Follow the prompts to install Office Home 2024.
      • Wait for installation to complete.
    5. Activate Office:
      • Open Word or Excel. • When prompted, sign in with the same Microsoft account you used in Step 2.
      • Word should show Office Home 2024 - Product Activated under File > Account.
