Thank you for letting me know.

That particular error (Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.ADDriverStoreAccess NonLocal Exception) usually points to a temporary issue with the connection to Microsoft’s servers.

Just to confirm, are you using Outlook with a work or school account, or is it a personal Microsoft account (like Outlook.com or Hotmail)?

If you haven't tried anything yet please start by:

Restart your PC:

  • This helps refresh any background Outlook or connection issues.

Reset the new Outlook app:

  • Press the Windows key and search for Outlook.
  • Right-click on it and select "App Settings".
  • Scroll down to the Terminate section and click "Terminate".
  • Then scroll down to the Reset section and click "Reset".
  • Wait a moment, then try opening the app again to see if it works.
  • If the issue persists, go back to the same settings, scroll down to the Reset section, and click on "Reset" (confirm the action if prompted).
  • Restart your PC and test.

Check for Windows updates:

  • Sometimes system updates include fixes for Outlook connectivity issues.
  • Go to Settings > Windows Update, then click Check for updates.

Try Outlook on the web:

  • You can also sign in at https://outlook.com to make sure your account itself is working fine.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions or concerns.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Just to clarify, Windows 10 support officially ended on October 14, 2025, not November 14. While the end of support can eventually cause performance or compatibility issues, it wouldn’t normally make Outlook stop working all of a sudden. So there’s likely something else going on here.

To help you better, can you share a bit more about what exactly happens when you try to open Outlook or send/receive emails?

    1. Do you get any error messages?
    2. Does Outlook open at all, or does it crash immediately?
    3. Are you using the Outlook app or Outlook on the web?

Any additional info about the issue you can provide will be helpful in diagnosing and resolving the issue.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

After October 14, 2025, Windows 10 will no longer be supported by Microsoft, which means that Outlook for Windows (new) may experience limitations in functionality, particularly if it is running on Windows 10. If you encounter issues with Outlook stopping or not functioning properly, it is recommended to upgrade to Windows 11 to ensure continued support and access to updates and features.

If you are unable to upgrade to Windows 11, Microsoft support will provide limited assistance for troubleshooting, but technical workarounds may be restricted. It is advisable to plan for an upgrade to maintain the functionality of your email services.
