Hi Team,

Kindly requesting assistance with payment for the renewal of MS Office license Family plan. I am entering all the correct visa card details but it is still showing that the Visa Card details is incorrect. Could the issue be from the Microsoft billing portal?

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, you can also check and test this on a different browser and to also try inPrivate or Incognito mode. Another alternative is to link your card to PayPal and then use it as the payment method to pay for the subscription. If you will still encounter an issue after checking and trying these, you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there and kindly take note that the forum does not have access to user accounts to be able to check this billing side of things. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/add-a-new-bank-or-credit-card-to-your-microsoft-account-c39dbc30-bc83-30c8-5ea9-d0d94e6dcfe4

If you're encountering issues with your Visa card details being marked as incorrect while trying to renew your MS Office Family plan, there are several potential reasons for this problem:

  1. Inaccurate Card Information: Ensure that the card details you are entering—such as the card number, expiration date, name on the card, and billing address—match exactly what is printed on the card and your bank statement.
  2. Card Restrictions: Some cards may have restrictions based on the country or region. Verify with your bank that your card is enabled for international transactions if applicable.
  3. Prepaid or Virtual Cards: If you are using a prepaid or virtual card, these types of cards are not accepted for Microsoft Marketplace purchases.
  4. Inactive or Blocked Card: Contact your bank to ensure that your card is active and not blocked for any reason.
  5. Outdated Card Information: If your card information has changed, you may need to update it on the payment page.

If you have checked all these factors and the issue persists, it may be beneficial to contact Microsoft support for further assistance with the billing portal.

Everything is all clear from bank side regarding the Visa Card but it is still showing incorrect Visa card details all the time. It was working before for the first 4 renewal MS Office Family plan but now it is no longer working.
