Hi Donald Hedges,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum!

When a subscription is updated - whether through an upgrade or renewal - it can take up to 24 hours for all systems to fully recognize the new permissions. This is a standard process to ensure everything syncs correctly across services.

During this time, certain features like file upload may not be immediately available. Once the update completes, you should have full access to the capabilities included in your subscription.

Please confirm your subscription status in your Microsoft account and make sure you’re signed in with the correct account that has the updated license.

If the issue persists after 24 hours, try signing out and back in, clearing your browser cache, or using a different browser. If you still experience difficulties after the propagation period, please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

I look forward to receiving your update. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.

If Copilot is not allowing you to upload files and is indicating to come back in 24 hours, it could be due to a delay in the propagation of your newly assigned license. After updating your subscription, it might take some time for the changes to take effect and for Copilot to recognize your new permissions.

Additionally, ensure that there are no licensing or account conflicts, such as being signed in with multiple accounts. If the issue persists beyond 24 hours, consider checking your internet connectivity and confirming that Copilot is not blocked by your organization's policies.

If you continue to experience issues, it may be helpful to reach out to your Microsoft 365 admin for further assistance.
