Hello R E Zuna,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand that emails from your important paid subscriptions are being blocked as spam, and I appreciate you reaching out for help with this.

I have reviewed the details on this thread. To assist you effectively, I'd like to provide some specific steps tailored for an MSN (Outlook.com) account holder that focus on managing your account's junk email filter.

First, to ensure I give you the most accurate guidance, could you please tell me if you're using Outlook.com (web), the desktop app, or mobile, and check your Junk Email folder first - subscription emails often land there.

In the meantime, here are the key actions you can take:

1. Add Senders to Your Safe Senders List:

This tells your email service that mail from these addresses is always welcome.

  • On Outlook.com: Go to Settings (gear icon) → View all Outlook settings → Mail → Junk email.
  • Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
  • Enter the exact email address your subscription service uses. You can often find this in an old email from them or on their website.
  • Click Save.

2. Review Your Blocked Senders List:

  • In the same Junk email settings page, check the list under Blocked senders and domains.
  • If you find the subscription service's address here by accident, select it and click the trash can icon to Remove it.

3. Contact the Sender's Support:

If the issue persists after you complete the steps above, the next practical step aligns with your suggestion. Please contact the customer support team of your paid subscription service directly. Inform them that their emails are being filtered as spam for @msn.com/Outlook.com recipients. They can investigate potential issues on their sending side, such as their domain's email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) or reputation, which are factors our recipient-side settings cannot override.

Please try these steps and let me know the results. I look forward to hearing back from you.

If your emails from paid subscription services are being blocked as spam by MSN, there are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Spam Folder: First, check your spam or junk folder to see if the emails are being filtered there. If you find them, mark them as "Not Spam" to help train the filter.
    2. Whitelist Senders: You can add the email addresses of your subscription services to your contacts or whitelist them. This may prevent future emails from being marked as spam.
    3. Review Email Rules: Check if there are any rules set up in your email account that might be filtering these emails to the spam folder.
    4. Contact Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to MSN support for assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance on why your emails are being blocked and how to resolve the issue.
    5. Use the Delist Portal: If you are the sender and your domain is being blocked, you can use the Anti-Spam IP Delist Portal to request removal from the blocked senders list.

By following these steps, you should be able to improve the delivery of your subscription emails.
