Hi Tan,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand the issue you’re experiencing — the text appears fully visible within the cells in Excel’s normal view, but parts of it are cut off when you switch to Print Preview or export the file to PDF.

This behavior is usually related to page layout or formatting, rather than the content itself. The worksheet view and the print/PDF layout can handle spacing differently.

You may want to try the following:

  • Ensure Wrap Text is enabled for the affected cells, then manually adjust the row height.
  • Switch to Page Layout view to better see how the content will appear when printed.
  • Go to Page Setup and review the Scaling settings; try No scaling or adjust Fit to page as needed.
  • Slightly increase the column width, even if the text already looks fine on screen.
  • Check the page orientation and margins (Portrait vs. Landscape), as these can cause text to be clipped.

Hopefully my response gives you some useful directions toward fixing this. If you need any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I’ll be glad to help.
