Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hello TP
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand how confusing it is when you just receive only some of the emails from a sender that normally sends daily messages.
Just to confirm, have you already tried the steps in the Q&A Assist response above? if yes, what happens when you try?
In addition, here are some steps that you can try:
1. Search for any missing emails
- Sign in to Outlook on the web
- Use the search bar and try searching for the sender’s address/domain
- Make sure your inbox filter is set to All (not “Unread” or another filter) and "Sort by Date"
2. Check Archive or other folders
- Sometimes emails are auto-archived or moved. If found, move them to Inbox.
- If you use Focused Inbox, check both Focused and Other (messages can be routed there)
- Double-check Archive folder as well, in case messages were accidentally archived.
3. Add the sender to Safe senders (recommended)
- In Outlook on the web, go to: Settings > Mail > Junk email
- Under Safe senders and domains, select Add safe sender and add: the sender's exact address and their domain
- Save changes
To help me guide you more specifically, could you also confirm:
- Do the missing emails also not appear on Outlook on the web, and when you do receive one, is the From address always the same?
- Does the sender receive any bounce-back / non-delivery message for the missing emails?
Please let me know how it goes. Thank you so much for your time and understanding.
