Hi @Ellie Simpson,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I would like to share the following information with you:

Normally, Microsoft Forms is automatically linked to an Excel file that stores all responses.

Please follow the steps below to access that Excel file:

Step 1: Go to your Form.

Step 2: Select View responses.

Step 3: click on the Excel file.

Please check whether the responses you may have accidentally deleted are still displayed there.

This is the interface used to compare questions and answers between the form and Excel:

If the responses are not shown, please continue with the steps below to restore the Version History of the Excel file to check whether it can be recovered to a version before the responses were deleted.

Note: You must have Edit permission on the Excel file containing the responses to perform the following steps.

Step 1: Go to https://onedrive.live.com

Step 2: Locate the Excel file that contains the responses.

Step 3: Click the three-dot icon (⋯) → select Version history.

Version History pane

Step 4: Review the available versions, choose a version that still contains the full responses, and click Restore.

You may also refer to the documentation below for more details on how to restore files using Version History:

If, after completing the steps above, you are still unable to recover the responses, you will need to contact Microsoft Technical Support for further assistance using more advanced data recovery tools.

Please note that forum moderators do not have the authority to directly intervene in user data to assist with recovery.

Steps to create a support ticket with Microsoft Technical Support:

Step 1: Go to https://admin.microsoft.com

Step 2: Select Help & Support.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.
