Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Debi Farley,
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to merge two Microsoft personal accounts into one. Each account and its subscription are managed separately.
What you can do instead
The practical way to resolve this is:
- Pick the account you want to keep (your main email/OneDrive)
- Check subscriptions on each account here: https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Cancel the subscription on the account you don’t need This stops future charges and won’t delete the account or your data
If you need anything from the old account, you can move it manually (for example, download/upload OneDrive files).
Important notes
- Subscriptions can’t be moved between accounts
- Accounts remain separate even if owned by the same person
I hope this helps clarify the situation a bit. I know it’s not the ideal outcome, but choosing one account to keep and cancelling the other should stop the duplicate charges moving forward.
If you run into anything while going through the steps, feel free to come back and update, and I’ll be happy to take another look with you.
