Microsoft Authenticator not working

I have used Microsoft authenticator for many years, but this week it stoppet working. When I try to open it I just see the picture and nothing more. I have tried to update my phone (Samsung), I have uninstalled the app and then installed again, but nothing is working. How do I resolve this?

    Hi.

    Thank you for the quick respond. I tried to update my phone one more time, and now I have access to the authenticator app again. I think something went wrong the last time i updated the phone.

    Thank you for reporting this issue and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    I've seen several users with the same problem with Microsoft apps such as Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Authenticator. This mainly happens on Android devices, especially Samsung.

    I found a method that might help you with this issue:

    Please follow the exact steps below:

    1. Settings -> Apps -> Search for "Android System WebView" -> App Details In Store -> Remove Updates
    2. Reboot
    3. Settings -> Apps -> Search for "Android System WebView" -> App Details In Store -> Update
      Note: If "Android System WebView" doesn't appear in the app list, go to: Settings -> Google -> All services -> System Services -> Select "Android System WebView"
    4. Reboot
    5. Launch Outlook & log in.
