Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I try to clear Edge browser history, the page appears, but is incomplete.
At least one more entry is at the bottom of the page, but I cannot read it.
Cannot use Apps/Edge/Modify to clean Edge browser.
Any advice, please?
Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 11
Hi Kenneth,
Thanks for posting your question here. Edge sometimes fails to properly resize modal dialogs, including Delete browsing data.
Please try the following to fix this:
-Close Microsoft Edge
-Go to Settings → System → Display
-Under Scale, temporarily set it to 100%
-Reopen Edge and try clearing history again
After clearing, you can restore your preferred scaling (125%, 150%, etc.).
-Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
-Set Time range to All time
-Select the data you want to remove
-Press Enter
This avoids the problematic Settings layout entirely.
Let me know if you have questions, I'm here to help.

The History/Delete browsing data dialog in Microsoft Edge is scrollable; the additional entries at the bottom must be reached by scrolling rather than resizing the window.
To view and clear all options on that page:
If the panel still appears cut off or unusable, clear cached images and files, then reopen Edge and try again:
edge://settings/clearBrowserData in the address bar.If Edge continues to misbehave or the UI is corrupted, run a repair of Microsoft Edge from Windows:
