Hello,

I passed the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification and I can still access the public verification page through LinkedIn.

However, when I sign in to Microsoft Learn, my certification/profile appears empty.

I believe I may have used different Microsoft accounts during training/labs and during the certification process.

I would like help recovering or merging better my certification profiles into one account because I want to continue with future certifications (AZ-104).

My details: Name: Panagiota Koutomanou Certification: AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals

I would prefer to havev evyrything to this email account: ******@gmail.com as i use it everyday.

Thank you.

    Hello,

I found the Microsoft account that was probably used for my certification:[Removed PII]@hauniv.edu]

However, this academic account appears to have been deleted/deactivated by the organization, and I no longer have access to the Learn profile connected to it.

I still have access to the public verification page of my AZ-900 certification through LinkedIn, including the Credential ID and Certification Number.

Is it possible to transfer or merge this certification into my personal Microsoft Learn account (Gmail account), so I can continue with future certifications such as AZ-104?

    Thank you.

Certification data and learning history are tied to the Microsoft Learn profile that was used when the exam was scheduled and taken. When different Microsoft accounts are used for training/labs and for the exam, the result is usually multiple Learn profiles, which is why one profile appears empty.

To consolidate everything under the Learn profile that is used every day (the Gmail-based account), use profile linking and merge:

    1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the account that is preferred (Gmail) and open profile Settings.
    2. Under Account Management, select Add login account.
    3. Sign in with the other Microsoft account(s) that may have been used when booking or taking AZ‑900.
    4. If the added login account is associated with a different Learn profile, this will trigger a profile merge. All learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from that other profile will be merged into the currently signed-in profile.
    5. After the merge completes, the AZ‑900 certification and any other credentials should appear under Credentials and in the Transcript of the preferred Learn profile.

Important details about merging and accounts:

    • Merging Learn profiles brings together all learning progress, credentials (including certifications), and transcripts into a single profile and cannot be undone.
    • After merging, it remains possible to sign in with all login accounts that were on both profiles.
    • Only one personal Microsoft account can be on a Learn profile, but up to five work or school accounts can be added.
    • Certification data is merged along with the rest of the learning data when Learn profiles are merged.

If access to the account that holds the AZ‑900 certification is lost (for example, forgotten password or username), recovery must be done through the standard Microsoft account self-service tools referenced in the Learn profile access guidance. Microsoft Credentials Support cannot move or restore certifications from a Learn profile that cannot be accessed.

Once profiles are merged and the preferred account is confirmed, future certifications such as AZ‑104 will automatically attach to that consolidated Learn profile.
