Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Good day @Michael.Wang,
I’m glad to share a bit of insight based on what I know.
Just to gently set the context, this forum is a user-to-user space, so we’re not part of the Microsoft internal team. We’re simply fellow users like you, sharing experiences and trying to support one another in the best way possible.
Regarding your question, adding another account in Settings won’t help you retain or access the original credentials. The new account won’t be able to see or inherit anything from your company account.
In practice, company credentials aren’t something you can keep once you leave. The account belongs to your organization, and they manage everything around access. Typically, once your employment ends, the IT team will disable or remove that account.
If there’s any data you might still need, it’s a good idea to reach out to your IT admin before your last day. They can help transfer important files, emails, or anything else you’re allowed to keep, depending on company policy
I hope this gives you a bit more clarity and reassurance as you prepare for your transition. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter!
