A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Hi, Ofer Pillar
Excel’s Stocks data type uses an online financial-data feed, so newly listed securities may not appear immediately. There is no separate team or application form that customers can use to add a ticker directly, and Excel support cannot manually add it.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
Type the company’s full legal name instead of only SPCX or SKHY, select the cell, then choose Data > Stocks. If a blue question-mark icon appears, select it to open the Data Selector, search by the company name and exchange, and check whether Excel offers the correct listing.
If it is still missing, select Give feedback in the Data Selector. This is the specific feedback route for missing data coverage. Include the ticker, full company name, exchange, and listing date. You can also submit the same request through Help > Feedback in Excel.
It is recommended that you submit SPCX and SKHY separately so each listing can be reviewed clearly. Excel’s financial data is supplied through LSEG Data & Analytics, and no guaranteed timetable for newly listed symbols has been published.
Thank you for your patience in reading, I hope this information has been helpful to you.
