I recorded a meeting successfully but can't find the recording. Where on enterprise Windows is the default place for saving recordings?

Hi Isabella
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum!
We understand it can be inconvenient not being able to locate your meeting recording, and we’re here to help you find it.
In most cases, after a meeting ends in Microsoft Teams, the recording is available in the meeting chat or in the channel conversation if the meeting was held in a channel.
For more detailed guidance, we recommend referring to this official Microsoft Support article: Record a meeting in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support
It provides helpful instructions for viewing recordings on both desktop and mobile apps.
In some cases, you might encounter a situation like the following example:

You can usually find the meeting record by expanding the conversation thread where the meeting took place.

Additionally, if your organization uses OneDrive for storing recordings, the default location is typically the "Recordings" folder within your OneDrive.

We hope this information helps you locate your meeting recording. If you have any updates, additional context, or further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
