I have a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A that works flawlessly on my Windows 10 computer. I use office tools, browsers, notepads, IDE editors. No problem what so ever. The only gripe is Powershell. When typing the '@' symbol gets inserted in the text.

The problem manifest itself with multiple versions of PS.

PowerShell 5.1 is installed with Windows 10, but I don't see where you used that in any of your demonstrations. Have you tried that?
Which version of PS7 are you running? If it's not 7.3 you should update PSReadline: about_psreadline before doing anything else.
