I was able to successfully change the region after un-installing the Gateway , Rebooting the server . During the new Installation when entering the Name of the Gateway server you would have a link to change the Regions.
On Premises Data Gateway - Change Region
Hi, I installed an On Premises Data Gateway on a Azure VM. I neglected to change the region. I uninstalled the Data Gateway and tried to reinstall. Now I don't have an option to change the region during the install process. How do I fix this?

Check if this setting is enabled on the Power BI tenant.

You don't necessarily need to do a complete uninstall if you do the following:
- Navigate to:
C:\Users\PBIEgwService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\On-premises data gateway
- And deleting the
Gateway.bin
file, and then restarting this service in task manager:
- And then opening up the Gateway app from the Start menu.
Hope this helps, @andrew.zwickl@kodakalaris.com ! Please let us know if you had any further questions.
