Can someone please tell me how to determine number of User Accounts on a specific Essentials 2019 server that count towards the 25 user license.

Do built-in users count ? e.g. Guest etc
Do Disabled users count ?
Do AAD Synchronization accounts count ?
Do MSOL Azure account count ?
Does the RDV GRAPHICS SERVICE count ?

    Hey @sales

    A User Account is a unique user name with its associated password created through the Windows Server 2019 Essentials Console. Customer may use up to 25 user accounts. Each user account permits a named user to access and use the server software on that server. It may reassign a user account from one user to another provided that the reassignment does not occur within 90 days of the last assignment.

    You can contact Volume Licensing Service Center for more details:

    Hi, When you say Windows Server 2019 Essentials Console do you mean Dashboard ?

    See here as Essentials Experience/ dashboard has been removed from 2019 - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server-essentials/get-started/what-s-new-19
    There is Server Console but no User Menu now like 2012/2016 Essentials Dashboard
    There is Windows Admin centre but cannot find any Essentials Console.

    I cannot see it as a feature either ?

    @Karlie Weng
    Came across this issue today as well. It's frustrating to see yet another Microsoft employee providing information that is not the least bit helpful. Maybe post a real answer with real solutions instead of directing people away from the platform designed to provide HELPFUL information

    What's the point of even having this platform when MS jumps in to redirect all patrons elsewhere?
