But the sender send an email containing more attachments. We also have software where we imported the email and saw that all the attachments was there.

    Hi @Rudolf Meij ,

We have received an email containing 1 attachment on the web and outlook.

Could you open this "1 attachment" normally? What are the types of those attachments?

Due to this issue also occurred on the web, this issue may be more related to your accounts instead of Outlook. Based on my research, if it only displays "1 Attachment" and couldn't open this attachement or there are other generic placeholder in your message, it's a known issue and would occur if the attachment is blocked by Outlook Web App.

If this is your case, it's suggested to contact sender to compress the files that they intend to send (for example, as a .zip file) and then send the compressed files as attachments.

The other solution is changing the Outlook Web App mailbox policy to include and exclude the file types that you want, please note that it may take several time to take effect and may make your system more vulnerable to security threats.

For more information, please refer to this article: Office 365 users can't open or view attachments in Outlook Web App.

If that's not your case or you still need more help, please provide me with more information and I would continue to research with you, thanks for your understanding.

Were these jpeg files attached as actual attachments or were they embedded in the message itself? For instance a screenshot as part of the body or a company logo as part of a signature. In those cases, Outlook will not display the file as attachment as well but only in the intended location within the message itself.

Other software can treat it differently and show the file as an attachment and in the message itself as well.

If that doesn't apply to you, more info is needed such as the application used to create/send the email and whether this applies to all emails or only this specific email or from this specific sender/domain, etc...
