I have a question about Azure devices,
My company has some devices registered in the Azure portal but the device details are nothing being updated I mean after the device has registered, if the user changes the device name, it is not being updated in the Azure portal, the same thing happening with win version,
can someone tell me what I need to do to keep the azure device updated?

The problem seems still to exist, the device name and also the Windows version, the registered owner, last activity is not updated or maybe not updated in time. How long does the update need?
Because of that ist actually not possible to handle devices in a propper way in AzureAD because you cannot see which device is still in use by which user and which device needs maybe deleted or deactivated or needs a Windows update!

Do you have the latest version of Windows 10? If you have version 1909 then this issue should be fixed, according to conversations in User Voice. https://feedback.azure.com/forums/169401-azure-active-directory/suggestions/12980892-machine-rename-azure-ad
This was reported with earlier versions but should have been resolved.
If you're seeing this issue with the latest version then I will check in with the product team to see the status of this issue.
