Hey guys, I have an issue and I hope so much that I can fix it with your help.

I have a new laptop that I bought this month and suddenly started to slow way way down after was in sleep mode, it was performing slow even after I've restarted. I could find an solution to get my laptop speed again (turned off fast startup) and after restarting my laptop, it was performing back with a high speed,

And after some days it started again to slow down ( it was again in sleep mode) I've searched for multiple solutions but nothing worked this time, (I have already turned off fast startup) I don't have any malware detected or startup tasks or programs that could slow down

I have an Acer Laptop with Windows 10
I've also updated the drivers

I don't think this could be an performance issue since my laptop is new

Please help me, I can't work on my high standards even I can't have a conference with partners because the sound is chopping

Might try from a clean boot. Also check that its patched to latest cumulative update level.

I agree that a clean boot is a good start to resolve this. Because you mentioned that your laptop is new, immediately I thought of all of the extra software that often comes with a new PC, especially on a laptop. Software like antivirus software often slows a computer down. I personally stick with Windows Security only.

Recently, a friend got a new laptop to replace one that had become slow and almost unusable. But the new laptop was even slower than the old one. I clean-installed Windows 10 on both and both laptops were improved. I installed as little of the OEM software as was possible, once all of the drivers were installed and up-to-date.

    Hi,

Perform a clean boot to troubleshoot the interference of applications or services.
Also, use Task Manager and Performance Monitor to discover what specific applications are slowing things down.

Or you may try the settings below:

GO to system, power and sleep, go to additional power settings, click on change plan settings, go to change advanced power settings, a small box will pop up, set power to high performance, go down to sleep, enable (on) hybrid sleep, hibernate: never, enable wake timers, minimum processor state 100%, active cooling state, maximum processor state 100%, don't forget to hit apply, see if this helps.

Hope above information can help you.
