Microsoft Edge in IE Mode - Closing dialog
Hi,
I am using Microsoft Edge in IE Mode because I need to open a Silverlight application.
To open the Silverlight application I used window.open(url).
When the Silverlight application is closed, a dialog is shown to confirm the closing of the window. Image attached below.
Is there any way to block the dialog from opening? I just want to force the window to close.
Thanks

Let me know if there are other tests that I can do.Thanks

2021-03-09T11:38:48.443+00:00 I tried to reset all advanced settings and then restart the computer but it doesn't work.
Could it be an edge problem? Any edge setting?
I tried also to change the security settings in Internet Explorer Settings but nothing to do.
It seems that when the Silverlight Application ask Edge to close, Edge (IE Mode) cannot be closed without the user permission. -

I suggest you refer to the steps below that may help you to suppress the said popup.- Open Internet Options.
- On the General tab, click on the Tabs button.
- Uncheck the Warn me when closing multiple tabs option.
- Click Ok to close the popup.
After that restart the computer and again try to test the issue in the IE mode to see whether it fixed.
