I have exactly the same issue as described here:

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/9750ec7c-418c-4d49-b9f5-926ea3738af3/event-153-io-operations-issue-on-system-disk?forum=ws2016#9750ec7c-418c-4d49-b9f5-926ea3738af3
@OzFenric2 Did you find a solution?

Does anyone have a solution?

SuperMicro Server
2x Samsung SSD in RAID 1
Server 2019 HyperV

The issue occurs on a guest VM (Server 2019). It is used ad RDS server with Chrome, Google drive, Adobe Reader.

I also have ID 2004 Resource-Exhaustion-Detecor after the disk errors occus saying:
"This programs used the most virtual memory GoogleDriveFS.exe (4488) used 61284134912 bytes, svchost.exe (1552) used 1036701696 bytes, en sqlservr.exe (5752) used 674308096 bytes."

The server worked without any problems for a year until the end of February.

Besides, please try to open cmd as administrator, then run sfc /scannow, and run chkdsk /f /r on the volumes of the VM, check if there are any errors. Please backup the data on the volume before running chkdsk.

    Thanks for your time!

    Hi,

According to your screenshot, 00, 04 means:

    00: SCSI (SCSISTAT_GOOD)
    04: SRB (SRB_STATUS_ERROR)

Please check if the disk on the Hyper V host that stores the VHD also has error 153.

Generally, the discretion of the driver writer for SRB_STATUS_ERROR. So, it's also recommended to turn to the Hard drive vendor for better help.
