Can you use Teams Call internationally

Is a colleague in England able to join a Teams call originating from the US?

Hi,

Yes it is possible to call internationally, however many countries have a history of blocking VoiP applications for use, for example Skype, Teams etc is blocked.

You can license per user for Calling so no worry there. You just need to make sure the numbers you call are supported on the international plan since it doesn't include all numbers, some places won't allow mobile calling etc.

Hi,
to have Dial-In feature in your meeting the Meeting Organizer need to have Audio Conferencing license assigned.
This license add Dial-in and dila Out capabilities to the meeting, then you can access the meeting from PSTN from everywhere, there are more then 90+ countries local numbers you can call.

It can be realized by buying Domestic and International calling plan.

Licensed users can roll out to numbers located in the country/ region where their Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license is assigned to the user bases on the user’s location, and to international numbers in 196 countries/ regions.
