I'd also like to ask this question, but in regards to Intune. I can find the option to set the default font for Excel, but not Word or Powerpoint. Is this just an oversight? A bug? A missing feature? It seems beyond silly that this can be done for only 1 of the 3 big apps.
Trying to set default font for Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel for entire organization.
We're trying to set a default font that is already available for all the users Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Outlook - Found older instructions on changing your own to the font/theme you want, Export the mailsettings registry key, convert to XML, created GPO and copy into User Conf>Preferences>Windows Settings>Registry. I have it pushing to a test user account but Outlook is not changing to the new font. GPRESULT /R is showing that its receiving the GPO?
Powerpoint - created a new powerpoint template with only the font changed in the master slide > Saved as Blank.potx > New GPO > User Config >Preferences>Windows Settings>FIles. Have the source set to where its saved in our domain location that all computers can access. Target Path is: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates - Action set to UPDATE so it overwrites the default blank template already in place. - Not working either.
Excel and Word i'm still trying to figure out!

2021-05-18T13:02:32.657+00:00 Thanks John - For Outlook, we dont care how the message fonts are displaying or received, its just the default font when composing an email.
TeemoTand - Thank you, I have seen that. We want to set these setting for the entire org instead of having the user do it to their own machine.
