Saving a mail item in .msg format using Outlook VSTO addin, with attributes visible in file explorer columns

I am writing an addin to assist with filing email, and cannot figure out how to save the .msg file with properties/attributes that will show in windows file explorer columns for Sender Address, To Addresses, Categories, etc.
These columns can be selected in windows file explorer, by messages I export using the saveas function do not seem to have that information exported.
Is there a way that I can get these metadata fields to be populated when I save the .msg file?
