Hi , I have about 900 TB of data on prem. I need to move the data in to cloud using Azure data box. I have read the documentation it says each databox has about 100 tb limit out of which 80 tb is usable. How long the process of 900 tb of data would take , and cost for each data box is $250. How does it exactly works, I mean how do it read and transfer data in to ADLS Gen2? Appreciate your answers and any useful links as well. Thanks heaps.

@Samy Abdul Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, Thank you for posting your query here!

Data copy really depends on size of the data, type of the data, and network bandwidth.
When you create a Data Box order, pricing is displayed. Also you can refer to the Data Box pricing page: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/databox/
Data transfer rates can vary greatly - it depends on the file sizes/amount of files being transferred/network bandwidth. For some jobs it can take a few days and for some it can take a few weeks. Normally you will get a good idea of how long it will take to upload on the other end because the upload takes about the same amount of time as the initial download onto the boxes.

    Hope this helps!
