Unable to open port on ubuntu 18.04

Hey
I am unable to open ports on ubuntu 18.04. i have disabled ufw on vm and opened all ports on azure networking panel. but still all ports all closed except 22.

Hi,
Could you please try the following way of allowing ports through ufw

Enable: sudo ufw enable

Check status: sudo ufw status verbose

Check the status of incoming and outgoing connections status and make necessary changes
sudo ufw default allow incoming
sudo ufw default allow outgoing

When i run these commands i get
Default outgoing policy changed to 'allow'
Default incoming policy changed to 'allow'

Perfect ! Now, the port should listen when an application uses/opens that port. For ex. Port 22 is available as SSH is installed and configured to listen port 22

The screenshots are from the VM associated NSG (In- and Outbound)?
Is there any other NSG associated with the subnet?

You should check the effective Security Rules -> VM -> Networking

Maybe this is helpful.
