Collections are groupings of sources and assets. With a collection, you can take action on all of its content at once.

Is there a metamodel ( model of models ) of Purview available to understand how everything is linked up internally?

Is this embedded somewhere inside the tool to download or is it published on some site ?

    Hello @Anonymous ,

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Unfortunately, Azure Purview doesn't provide meta-model for data assets.

You need to create your own meta-models for data assets using Apache Atlas API.

In Azure Purview, we’ve modeled data assets using the Apache Atlas approach. You can find out more from this open source project documentation.
In addition, for data systems that are not on the Apache Atlas documentation that we’ve added into Purview, they can use the Apache Atlas API to get the typesdefs from their existing Purview account.

Hope this will help. Please let us know if any further queries.
