Vive option on teams integrating with sharepoit

I have enabled viva connection for teams to integrate with sharepoint, and even MS teams apps office 365 E3 is enabled , however user is not able to see VIVA connection . However Microsoft E3 is disabled ( I believe this should not cause any problem to see viva connection, Beacuse all other license are enabled, Please confirm) Because all other respective licenses are enabled, Please find attached screenshots

and when I tried to enable Microsoft E3 enabled giving following error:

Hi @sns ,

As long as you have any Microsoft 365 enterprise license you automatically have a license for Viva Connections.

However, your users need to have permission to this communication site, otherwise they will not be able to see the content.

Yes, even after enabling all the respective licenses, users not able to see the VIVA icon itself. Please help further.

According to the current situation, this is not related to the license. As I mentioned, make sure that the user has permission on this site. And as your users an external users or have only partial permissions?

Hi @sns ,

Which policy did you upload the App to? Suppose you upload to the ”test“ policy, then which users have you set in this test policy? Check to see if your business users are included.

Noticed app is added in the Global(Org-wide Default) policy.

Under normal circumstances, there should be no issue. Global policy means all users. Did you upload the app in other policies?

No, this one is normally enough. This is very strange, how many business users do not have an icon? Do these users have anything in common?

Right now we are doing business check out for 3 people, so these 3 people not able to see.
so u meant to say be default all the business users present in the set up polices--> global--> manage users area?
PFA, randomly I was trying to enter one user name...so all these users already present in that area?

What is "bussiness check out"? Have you made some different settings for these three users? You could try to add these three users individually and wait for a while, and then see if there are any changes.

Business check out means--> randomly 3 end users would verify whether viva app is available or not from teams after we ( admin team) deploy the viva connections app.

I have not made any different settings to these 3 users or any users.
we (admin team) are able to see and why those 3 end users are not able to see?

What is meant by re transmitting? means redeploy?

Removing the app from UI , meaning removing it from MS teams app right?

However I have added those 3 business users under manage users, it started working, I am not sure why it started working. Because we (admins our self's ) have not added admins names in the mange users area...

Please clarify, how to take this weird behavior to production deployment which we have planned next week...
Do we need to add all business/organization users in that manage users area for production?

If yes also please share me how to add all users in mange users area from set up polices at a time to avoid issues in production.

Hi Elsie Lu,

I have checked with other common user, I asked him to log in teams app with respective account.
I wondered he got below message.

When he teams app , he is getting below screenshot "whileOpeningTheTeams"
and when click on adding app screenshot2.

Please let me know why it is happending and fix for it.

It worked for admins and business check out 3 users and now I have verified with common user for the respective account but he is getting these error. he got visitor access like busniess users in the sharepoint site..and i added him in the global -->manage users area also--> but still he is getting above errors. Please help
