Windows 10 BSOD (NTOSKRNL.EXE+4b448a / PSHED.DLL+15b0 | CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT)

Over the past week my computer has been experiencing BSOD errors during periods of high activity/multi-tasking. This takes place primarily during periods where I am playing video games that have higher requirements of my system. Looking at previous posts with similar issues, I downloaded BlueSreenView and identified the exact nature of the BSOD. The cause has been listed in all but one of the crashes as being caused by NTOSKRNL.EXE and, once, by PSHED.DLL.

I saw many posts stating this could be a driver issue, so I went ahead and reinstalled my OS and the problem is still happening with a fresh install with no changed drivers. I also made sure that there is no overclocking on either my GPU or CPU.

I welcome any help that anyone can provide on this issue. I would at least like to narrow down whether it is a hardware issue or not.

Can you boot in to Safe mode?

If, then boot and uninstall your display driver then restart.

Update BIOS, Chipset, Display Driver, Network Driver.

    What is the warranty status?

Form what you've posted and reported this is a hardware problem.

Run the V2 log collector and post a share link into this thread:

    There will be more BSOD.

When there are new BSOD > check the size of the file > if the file size is less than 2 GB then zip and post a share link into this thread

Search for C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP > save to the downloads folder > zip > post a share link into this thread

    10/13/2021 3:57:56 PM 1822.51 C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP

There will be hardware stress testing.

These tests may or may not be sensitive to find the malfunctioning hardware.

Select one of these software to monitor temperatures:

    a) Speccy:
    https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

    b) HW monitor:
    https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

    c) Speed Fan:
    https://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

    Run Prime95
    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16474-prime95-stress-test-your-cpu.html

    a) Record the maximum temperature and post the maximum temperature into this thread
    b) Record the continuous test duration and post the uninterrupted test duration into this thread
    c) Aim for testing > 3 hours and abort testing as needed for freezing, temperature changes (see link)
    d) Use the Microsoft snipping tool to post images into this thread
    e) For any problems posting images please use share links

More tests to follow pending the above results.

    Hi there,

Have you recently changed any Hardware's on the PC?
As I can see that you have clean installed the PC, so I would suggest you check with your PC brand diagnostic tool to check the hardware and see if you can find any irregularities in the PC.

Contact the computer manufacturer or vendor.

Ask what you can and cannot do to make sure that you maintain the warranty.

For example: swap test the CPU, apply thermal paste, etc.

    Please run:

    OCCT version 9.01 or newer

    https://www.ocbase.com/

Plan to run each tab test for 1 hour: CPU, Linpack, Memory, 3D, etc.

Abort testing as needed for freezing and temperature.

(There is also a OCCT software setting section)

Post images or share links of the test results into this thread.

For any new BSOD please run the V2 log collector.
