Windows 10 BSOD (NTOSKRNL.EXE+4b448a / PSHED.DLL+15b0 | CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT)

Over the past week my computer has been experiencing BSOD errors during periods of high activity/multi-tasking. This takes place primarily during periods where I am playing video games that have higher requirements of my system. Looking at previous posts with similar issues, I downloaded BlueSreenView and identified the exact nature of the BSOD. The cause has been listed in all but one of the crashes as being caused by NTOSKRNL.EXE and, once, by PSHED.DLL.

I saw many posts stating this could be a driver issue, so I went ahead and reinstalled my OS and the problem is still happening with a fresh install with no changed drivers. I also made sure that there is no overclocking on either my GPU or CPU.

I welcome any help that anyone can provide on this issue. I would at least like to narrow down whether it is a hardware issue or not.

I actually did figure out the solution

.The situation was, however, probably unique to my system. After extensive hardware and software testing (all of which indicated extremely high temperatures), I determined that my water cooling system was defective. It was simply not cooling my processor to an adequate degree. The blue screen issue was my computer preemptively shutting itself down due to the high temperatures. I switched out the water cooling system for a high end fan and the problem disappeared right away.

I am guessing this solution will not help you, as as a defective water cooler is an unlikely scenario. I hope this helps you to at least eliminate one possibility!

How high were your temperatures going? I've just used HWMonitor to check them and while playing games, my CPU temperature stays at 100°C most of the time
