Hi all,
we applied SCOM 2019 UR2 and in the next step we wanted to import the newest MPs from the path "C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center\Operations Manager\Server\Management Packs for Update Rollups"

Unfortunately the import of all MPs are failed with the following error:
"Database error. MPInfra_p_ManagementPackInstall failed with exception:
[SQL Error Code: -2146232060][MP ID: 8d053a15-dd8a-be4e-6305-4c458725d58f][MP Version: 10.19.10407.0][MP PKT: 31bf3856ad364e35] Procedure or function p_MPImportXML has too many arguments specified."

Any help?

    Hi @Birdal ,
have you confirmed that UR2 has been applied successfully?
Can you please also check the status of your SQL, restart the SDK service on your management servers and try again?
Are there any Events on your management servers?

    Thanks and Regards

    Hi Stoyan,
the manually UR2 update process is run without any problem. Honestly, I must say that I did not check every file version after UR2. What I checked were all OK, newest.

I see in the first SCOM Management Server many following errors event ID 26319:
"An exception was thrown while processing GetUserRolesForOperationAndUser for session ID uuid:3858ddba-997e-4b54-bd4d-70bf0917f3e3;id=264.

Is there any status check script for Management Server and/or SQL server?

    Hi @Birdal ,

Since you encountered some issues while applying the Update Rollup 2 as per your other thread "SCOM 2019 UR2 installation issue", did you successfully apply all the updates, SQL scripts and management packs? Also did you ensure that everything was done in the correct order?

    Hi @Birdal ,

there was a similar issue with importing the MPs from UR1, but the error was different:

MPInfra_p_ManagementPackInstall failed with exception: Database error. MPInfra_p_ManagementPackInstall failed with exception: Invalid column name ‘DisplayName’.

I am not quite sure how to troubleshoot this exactly. If you want more information you will have to do some digging on your backend side, do a tracing, check the logs.
If you have already done the standard stuff in SCOM (empty cache, restart services, etc..) then opening a case with MS would be also a good idea.

Do you think this is possible?
    Regards,
    Stoyan

    Hi Stoyan,
    Hi Leon,

we made rollback of SCOM 2019 UR2 to UR1, and will not deploy UR2 until Microsoft solve the update problems.

    Best regards
