abstract member OnCellMouseDoubleClick : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnCellMouseDoubleClick : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnCellMouseDoubleClick (e As DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs)

Parameters

Exceptions

The value of the ColumnIndex property of e is greater than the number of columns in the control minus one.

-or-

The value of the RowIndex property of e is greater than the number of rows in the control minus one.

Remarks

Typically, double-clicking a cell puts the cell in edit mode.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnCellMouseDoubleClick method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnCellMouseDoubleClick(DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnCellMouseDoubleClick(DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
