Raises the ColumnStateChanged event.
protected:
virtual void OnColumnStateChanged(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnColumnStateChanged (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnColumnStateChanged : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnColumnStateChanged : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnColumnStateChanged (e As DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs)
Parameters
A DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.
Exceptions
The column changed from read-only to read/write, enabling the current cell to enter edit mode, but the EditType property of the current cell does not indicate a class that derives from Control and implements IDataGridViewEditingControl.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnColumnStateChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnColumnStateChanged(DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnColumnStateChanged(DataGridViewColumnStateChangedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
