In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, you can select one or more X++ application objects in the Application Object Tree (AOT) to export an .xpo file. The .xpo file can then be used by developers to share or transport application objects from one Microsoft Dynamics AX installation to another. This topic describes how to export application objects, without business data, to an .xpo file.
For more information about how to export data for tables, see Export options (class form) and How to: Move Elements to Another Layer.
