Released version 9.2 23072

Introduction

Version 9.2 23072 for Microsoft Dataverse is now available in all regions. This article describes the updates, including the new features, and the fixes to existing functionality, which are included in this update. This version was first made available in preview on July 14 2023, and completed worldwide rollout on August 18 2023.

New features

Form command bar rendering at boot

Users who boot directly into a form will see a placeholder command bar rendered from cache, reducing the wait time for the form load. This placeholder command bar has a limited set of commands available immediately, such as open in New window, Save, Save & close, New and Refresh. The full command bar will appear after the form is fully loaded. This change enhances the user experience by making the form available for interaction sooner and moving the command bar calculations out of the critical boot path. Note that this changes does not affect when the form is opened while the app is runing. This feature is being incrementally enabled starting with 9.2 Train 23072(07.2).
