MailPassword Property

The MailPassword property specifies the Microsoft Exchange client account password for SQL Mail.

[!NOTA] SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString.

Notas

The SQL Mail component of Microsoft SQL Server enables a server as an Exchange client. A correctly configured instance of SQL Server can send and receive e-mail messages.
