Hi, recently I have decided to organize my pc files and found out that there are some folders that weren't in my pc earlier.

The folders are named: SYSTEM, MONO. The SYSTEM folder contains another System folder and System64 folder. The MONO folder contains a mono installer and another mono folder. I don't know what are these and if I can unistall it. I think I had these in my pc once and I moved the mono somewhere and nothing happened and now it got created again. So I'm wondering, can I delete these?

There is also a documents folder in the pictures folder and I'd to remove it but I don't know how. I've seen few fixes for this that I can move it somewhere else etc. but it's even in the left panel under the This PC and in the My folder so I got it 3 times. What do I do with it?

    Hi again Richard,

I recommend not to delete it, It's too dangerous.

This is because many critical system files are stored in that folder. Without those files, your computer won't be able to boot up properly.

Those folders are not malware, they are usually created by a game or Unity Engine

Hi, thank you for your response! What about the SYSTEM folder? Should I keep it too? It just randomly appeared in the (C:) disk (not in program files, program files (86x) etc.)

    Hi Richard,

I'm Amr, an independent advisor, and will try to help you with this.

Mono is a software platform designed to allow developers to easily create cross-platform applications part of the.NET Foundation. Sponsored by Microsoft, Mono is an open-source implementation of Microsoft. NET Framework based on the ECMA standards for C# and the Common Language Runtime.

You don't need to uninstall that your pc needs it, it is software that was designed for programming use by developers.

    > It sounds like the Documents folder has been mistakenly moved into the Pictures folder, and that's why it's appearing in multiple locations. Here are the steps you can follow to remove the Documents folder from the Pictures folder:

Open the File Explorer and navigate to the Pictures folder.

Locate the Documents folder that's inside the Pictures folder.

Right-click on the Documents folder and select "Cut" or press "Ctrl+X" on your keyboard.

Navigate to the desired location where you want to move the Documents folder.

Right-click in the empty space in the new location and select "Paste" or press "Ctrl+V" on your keyboard.

Once the Documents folder has been moved to the new location, you can delete the empty Documents folder that's left in the Pictures folder.

I hope this helps, please feel free to reply to this if you need any further Assistance.
