Příklad kódu vytvoří kolekci MutableKeys , která je odvozena od KeyedCollection<TKey,TItem>třídy a MutableKey . Třída MutableKey má nastavitelnou Key vlastnost. Poznámky

Ve výchozím nastavení obsahuje vyhledávací slovník, KeyedCollection<TKey,TItem> který se vytvoří při přidání první položky. Po přidání položky do objektu KeyedCollection<TKey,TItem>se klíč položky extrahuje jednou a uloží se do vyhledávacího slovníku pro rychlejší hledání. Toto chování lze přepsat pomocí konstruktoru KeyedCollection<TKey,TItem>(IEqualityComparer<TKey>, Int32) a určením prahové hodnoty vytvoření slovníku.

Načtení hodnoty této vlastnosti je operace O(1).
