Příklady
Následující příklad definuje PhoneService
výčet, který představuje formy komunikace poskytované telefonní společností. Inicializuje tři proměnné představující službu poskytované třemi různými domácnostmi a pak označuje, které domácnosti nemají žádnou službu, které domácnosti mají pouze mobilní telefonní službu a které domácnosti mají mobilní telefon i službu land line. Nakonec implicitně volá metodu Enum.ToString(String) k zobrazení typů služeb poskytovaných jednotlivým domácnostem.
